At IBM Yarns, I focus on providing beautiful hand-dyed cotton yarns in fun and interesting colours. This is the first-ever Yarn Advent for IBM Yarns, and a lot of planning, research, and thought has gone into creating a wonderful, unique theme that not only fits the IBM Yarns aesthetic but also includes colourways that won’t leave you wondering what to make. 

Let’s face it - surprises are awesome! Some people love them; others, not so much—because it's always a gamble. With that in mind, I’ve decided not to stray far from what I usually create. After all, you love my yarns for a reason, right? I didn’t want to do something completely out of the ordinary, but rather design colourways that are unique, pretty, and usable. They’ll be limited-edition colourways, so you’ll still be getting surprises - don’t worry!  

 

Inspiration For The Theme

Sweet, fruity, colourful, exciting, bright pastels— 
 All the things we love about candy (lollies)! 

Imagine walking into a small lolly shop:  

the sweet smells, the shelves lined with hundreds of different lollies - 

you want to look at everything and taste them all! 

 


What You Will Receive 

  • 24 x 25g balls of yarn 

  • 1 large surprise for Christmas Day 

  • A little extra surprise along the way 

Each mini skein will be numbered and packed in individual little boxes for daily opening, all stored in a larger box to keep everything together. 

 

About The Yarn Bases

  • Australian Cotton – Locally sourced, soft and matt,  (4 ply or 8 ply)

  • Egyptian Giza Mercerised Cotton – Luxurious, glossy, imported and more difficult to source (4 ply)

Both yarns are of exceptional quality, professionally hand-dyed in my studio.

Please note that the colours between each base may be slightly different.

To ensure a flat-rate cost, there is an option for shipping called "Advent Pre-order". If you would like to include more items to your order, please inform me so shipping can be adjusted accordingly.  

Free shipping is unavailable for Advent orders.

Kindly note that items in your cart are not secured until checkout is completed and an order confirmation is received. Advent Calendars will be shipped via Australia Post in recyclable kraft cardboard mailer boxes.
